- Do you use floaties or a life jacket with a toddler in the pool?
It's a full size pool so the toddler can't stand- do you use some sort of flotation device or just hold the child? This is assuming there is only 1 kid in the pool. Last summer I had him in a floatie that had a shade thing over it, he was less than a year old. He went in my pool for the first time this year this weekend, and I just held him. It wasn't too much of a pain but I can see where it would be. Does anybody know where to find the floatie swim suits for over 32 pounds? That was the biggest size I saw and he's 33 already.
A You want a puddle jumper - I saw them in the camping section at Wal Mart this weekend - they have arm floats plus a badn around the chest. They are great. My girls are 2 and 3 and just wear either arm floats OR a bathing suit with floats in it - but they are pretty good swimmers.
